Sabeth Buchmann

Sabeth Buchmann is an art historian and art critic and Professor for Art History of Modernity and Postmodernity at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.

Buchmann regularly contributes to anthologies, exhibition catalogues and art journals. She is advisory member of Texte zur Kunst (Berlin). She is co-editor of PoLyPen (b_books/ Berlin) and Exhibition Histories (Afterall/London).

Her publications include: Hélio Oiticica & Neville D'Almeida, Experiments in Cosmococa (2013, co-edited with Max Jorge Hinderer Cruz), Film Avantgarde Biopolitics (co-edited with Helmut Draxler and Stephan Geene, 2009), Thinking against Thinking.
