
Matteo Lucchetti
Matteo Lucchetti is an art historian, independent curator, and writer. His major curatorial projects include: "Don't Embarrass the Bureau" (Lunds Konsthall, Lund, 2014); "Enacting Populism" (Kadist Art Foundation, Paris, 2012); "Practicing Memory" (Fondazione Pistoletto, Biella, 2010).
He has been curator in residence at Para Site, Hong Kong, Kadist Art Foundation, Paris, and AIR, Antwerpen. He is co-curator of "visible", a research and biennial award for socially engaged artistic practices, initiated and supported by Michelangelo Pistoletto Foundation and Fondazione Zegna.
Lucchetti lectures regularly at the Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam. He has co-organised and took part in several public talks in various institutions, such as the Centre d'Art Contemporain in Geneva, the Steirischer Herbst in Graz, and the Centre for Historical Reenactments in Johannesburg.
