
Friederike Nymphius
*1968, lives and works in Berlin
Following her dissertation on the Swiss contemporary artist John M Armleder at the UdK Berlin in 2001, Friederike Nymphius was working for the Daimler Collection in Berlin from 2001 to 2004. From 2004 to 2013, she was curator of Kunsthalle Andratx and Art Foundation Mallorca Andratx, both located in Mallorca, Spain. During this period, she realized the special exhibition BIG CITY LAB for contemporary art fair ART FORUM BERLIN and was working as Corporate Art Curator for the collection of the European Patent Office in Berlin and The Hague from 2007 to 2008. In 2009, she founded the project space NYMPHIUS PROJEKTE in Berlin, where she is showing thematic group exhibitions as well as changing solo shows of contemporary artists. Friederike Nymphius lives and works in Berlin as a freelance curator, author and appointee of international private collections.
